Clicking on the Cursor Lock Tool produces a drop-down menu with several options. Each is discussed below.
Allow Drag
When enabled, this option allows the cursor to be moved by first selecting the Use Cursor Tool and then by dragging the cursor around on the chart.
Free
When this option is enabled, the cursor is not locked to a particular point or plot on the chart.
Snap to Point
Enabling this option immediately moves the cursor to the nearest point on the plot it is associated with (see below).
Lock to Plot
Enabling this option forces the cursor to move only along the plot it is associated with (see below).
Associated Plot
The cursors are associated with one of two plots for any particular chart in the QCM200 software. On the frequency chart, the plots are Frequency and Tags. On the resistance chart, the plots are Resistance and Tags. The default association for the cursors is not with the Tag plots. If you wish to use the cursors to measure the time between tags, associate the cursors with the Tag plot and then move the cursors to the positions you wish to measure.
