What are cursors?

Cursors are XY crosshairs that let you read out the XY data point values from the graph.

Why would I want to use cursors?

You can use cursors to quickly find the difference between two X or Y values on the graph without stopping to look at a log file.

Turn off auto scaling first

Before you use any the cursor tools, turn off all auto scaling (X and Y) for the chart by toggling the Lock Auto Scale icon so that the Auto Scale Once icon is not illuminated. If you use the cursor tools while the data is continuously auto scaling, then your cursors will move as the new data is plotted.
