Log File Format

Preamble

The log file contains a preamble which identifies the data as coming from a SRS QCM200, and shows the data and time at which the data was collected. It also contains a key for the various tag values.

Column Headings

The column headings are tab delimited. There are 8 data types recorded, and each type gets a column heading. The headings are : Frequency (aka Raw Frequency), Resistance (aka Raw Resistance), Delta F (aka Relative Frequency), Delta R (aka Relative Resistance), Delta Mass (aka Relative Mass), Time (in seconds) and Tags.

Data

The data are tab delimited. Each number is formated in scientific notation to a precision of 6 digits after the decimal place with the exception of the tag values and the raw frequency values. The tag values have only one digit and the raw frequency values have 9 significant figures after the decimal point.
