Zero Relative Resistance and Frequency

The relative display modes allow you to plot the data as a shift from a reference (frequency or resistance) point. Whenever you click this button, the current resistance and frequency measurements are then used as the reference values against which all other relative measurements are plotted.

Another thing the button does is store a tag value in the log file. This value is also plotted on the screen.

Note that the software does not re-calculate the data already plotted relative to the new reference values. Only new data is plotted against the new references.

If you ever become confused as to what the data has actually done while using the relative modes, you can always change the Frequency Display Format Selector to Raw Resistance or Raw Frequency. The raw displays are completely unaffected by changes in the relative plots.
