About the SRS Extended Warranty Program
All SRS products come with a standard one year warranty. The SRS Extended Warranty Program provides two additional years of warranty coverage, giving you a total of three years of in-warranty service.
During the warranty period, your instrument is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any defective parts or damaged materials are replaced at no charge to you.
Returning Your Instrument for In-Warranty Service
In-warranty servicing is performed at SRS (located in California). You will need to contact us and get an RMA (return materials authorization) number before sending your product back for service. Please identify your instrument as one that participates in the SRS Extended Warranty Program. Please note, the shipping cost of returning an instrument for in-warranty service is your responsibility. Once serviced, SRS will pay the shipping cost of returning the product to you.
Exceptions and Clarifications
Damage caused by misuse of your instrument is not covered under the warranty program. Batteries (if used in your instrument) carry a 90 day warranty.
Calibration is only warranted during the first year of ownership. After the initial one year period, instruments being returned strictly for calibration will be subject to the standard SRS service charge.
